Artist Profile: Jon Ballantyne

A product of jazz enthusiasts, the prairie raised Manhattan-based Jon Ballantyne has been charming crowds with his rhythmic inventiveness for nearly three decades. Whether it is an original composition or reworking the standard jazz repetoire, his sense of originality, openness and creativity is sure to delight every listener. The pianist and composer has released 10 albums to date and has performed worldwide. He's also conducted numerous educational clinics across schools in North America and Europe.
