Lettuce + DDBB

When a 7-piece Brooklyn-based juggernaut meets a New Orleans brass band known for its high-octane performances, a good time is sure to be had! On Wednesday, June 25 at Nathan Phillips Square, a party is exactly what we're throwing.

The modern day rulers of old school funk, Lettuce takes a bottom- heavy, horn-driven approach to funk channeling James Brown, Parliament Funkadelic and Tower of Power. Check out their tribute to James Brown below and see why they're rightfully near the top of the modern jam / funk heap.

Doesn't get any more funky than that! Add in a jaw-dropping, eye-popping, thigh-slapping and nerve-rattling performance by Dirty Dozen Brass Band and the good times will definitely be flowing! Often imitated but never duplicated, for more than 35 years no other brass band has had quite the impact like DDBB.

Tickets are on sale now at all Ticketmaster outlets or by calling 1.855.985.5000. This performance is presented by The Grid.
