Rennie Adams From The Voice Joins Festival Lineup

Rennie Adams will be performing at this year's Festival, opening for Seal on Saturday, June 23, at the Sony Centre.

Adams is best known for his talents on The Voice Australia, where his soulful folk tones put him in the top eight and garnered international recognition.

Aretha Franklin Concert Cancelled

The Aretha Franklin concert that was rescheduled for June 28, 2018 at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts has, unfortunately, been cancelled. As per doctor's instructions, Aretha Franklin has been ordered not to perform in the coming months.

Ticketholders that purchased through Ticketmaster or through the Sony Centre Box Office will be contacted and will receive a full refund of their ticket order.

ARETHA FRANKLIN CONCERT POSTPONED Rescheduled for June 28, 2018

The Aretha Franklin concert originally scheduled for July 1, 2017 at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts has, unfortunately, been postponed. As per doctor’s orders, Aretha Franklin cannot make the trip to Toronto this week. However, we are pleased to announce that she will perform at the 2018 TD Toronto Jazz Festival on June 28, 2018. Ticketholders that purchased through Ticketmaster or through the Sony Centre Box Office will be contacted and will have the option of keeping their tickets and using them for the new date, or will receive a full refund of their ticket order.

Pat LaCroix & Ted O'Reilly release photo collection of local jazz greats

Congratulations to Pat LaCroix and Ted O'Reilly on the publication of a exquisite collection of photos of local jazz luminaries with expert commentary by Ted O'Reilly. Toronto Jazz Treasures was the brainchild of Pat's late wife Naomi Patricia. She conceived it, named it and brought it to life. It is a celebration of the fantastic Jazz musicians who live, perform and teach the beautiful art of Jazz music in Toronto. The book consists of 100 black and white portraits Pat made of these musicians and the histories of their careers, beautifully written by Ted O'Reilly.
